Be mindful as you make this recipe that when you add the butter to the melted sugar and then the cream it will boil up violently.
There are a few tricks to making this sauce. Be sure to stir constantly. Once the sugar melts completely, immediately add the butter and stir to fully incorporate, 2 to 3 minutes. After the butter has fully incorporated add the heavy cream and let boil for 1 minute. Be sure to cool down for at least 10 minutes before handling.
